What can be more beautiful than the simple elegance of Iris flowers...

I am very happy to present pictures taken for Top Magazin Thüringen last year in the very late and extremely hot Iris season. 

Already three years ago I had the chance to meet Mister Bernhard Lesche together with his lovely wife and discovered a hidden treasure of beauty and the natural grace of old and modern Iris breedings. I wanted to do some flower studies and spend some hours in his garden near by Jena/Thuringia. When chief editor Jens Hirsch  asked me later to do the pictures for his story I thought immediately of Falk Bauer and his amazing glas insects. The still life was taken with Mamiya RZ on Kodak Portra roll film.

I häve a dream

Tine Drefahl & the students of the Ernst-Abbe-Gymnasium together in a team with music teacher Antje Gude and Sebastian Drefahl, responsible for sound cut and rendering, realized the stop-motion-clip "I häve a dream" in the context of this year's Thuringia school contest, lauchned by Interior Minister Jörg Geibert, which is called "Who are you? Integration in Thuringia". We are very proud to announce that we won the special prize for creativity for our school. The title of our animated film is directly inspired by Martin Luther King's famous speech "I have a dream" from 1963. Our film is about our values, friendship and the power of creative energie and shows how the students approached subjects such as dicrimination or exclusion.

Together we make the world a more beautiful place!

Tine & Mily Make Up

Mily Serebrenik 

Paris based make up artist, born in Bresil, is the next guest star on my blog TINE & FRIENDS.

Indeed! She is an old friend of mine. I met her once in Berlin during some work experiences on fashion shootings as a student at Bauhaus University. She is such a charming, nice and beloved lady, extremely talented and inventive,- as well as an make up artist for top brands, high-end magazines and fashion shows from Paris to New York, as a business woman or the creator of Mily Eye Flashes and I am very happy about our beautiful story of friendship and appraisal.

Rider on the storm

I am very happy to present the last portrait project about one of my favourite German DJ's Mathias Kaden - precious particle in the kaleidoscope of the electronic music label Freude-Am-Tanzen from my home town Jena/Thuringia. During one of his last gigs in Muna, where he grew up as a very young and promising DJ and electronic music lover, I had the pleasure to see him setting the world on fire. I adore his power, energy, creativity and kindness towards people.

Since I started illustration I've been dreaming about illustrating the "Alice in Wonderland" theme.
It is one of the most powerful stories that inspired and impressed me so much. My fascination for the story started when I was a girl and since I developed new skills in a combination of handdrawn work and computer-aided draftings the idea popped up again. Et voilá...
